NEW KANSAS CITY CHESS CLUB!

The Heart of America Chess Association is pleased to announce the opening of a new club for the Kansas City Area!

Where: "The Plex" @ Noland Road Baptist Church - 4505 S. Noland Road - Independence, Missouri 64055

When: Friday nights 7pm - 11pm

Directions: Take I-70 East to Noland Road and go South (right) about 1/2 mile. The church is across the street from Fuddruckers Restaurant. If you are coming from the East take I-70 West to Noland Road and go South (left). Park in the North parking lot and look to the North for an apartment building marked with a big sign saying "THE PLEX" - come on in!

There are no fees or charges to play, this is a club for the community!

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:

The City of Independence, Missouri has decided to replace the 40 year old Noland Road bridge. Here is a link to the City's Web site with detours to help you get to the chess club:

According to the City those of you coming from the West will still be able to take the exit and go South to the club. Everyone else will need to detour around and access Noland from 40 Highway.
